🚨 Amazon is set to announce its largest-ever corporate workforce reduction, with plans to lay off up to 30,000 employees starting Tuesday, according to sources. The cuts will affect nearly all business divisions and mark the biggest tech industry layoffs since 2020. Amazon employs 1.54 million people globally and about 350,000 in corporate roles, has not commented on the move. The layoffs come amid a broader wave of job reductions across major tech firms including Microsoft, Meta, Google, Salesforce and Intel which have collectively cut tens of thousands of positions this year.
