🚨 The White House has begun demolishing parts of the East Wing to make room for President Trump’s proposed $250M ballroom. The East Wing, historically home to the First Lady’s office & the Presidential Emergency Operations Center is being altered despite Trump's earlier promise that construction would not interfere with existing structures. Trump announced the project during a White House event, calling the new ballroom “a lot of fun” & claiming it fulfills a 150-year-old desire for such a space. The new ballroom will reportedly connect to the main residence through a modified section of the East Room.
