Max Holloway is game for whoever the UFC throws next at him – says if it’s UFC Lightweight champion Ilia Topuria or even Charles Olievira, due to their history, he’s excited for whatever is next to come but wants that revenge against Ilia Topuria. 

Dana White says Max Holloway is in a great position to fight Ilia Topuria again and is open to having both the BMF and UFC Lightweight title on the line.

“Anything is possible for Max right now.”

Max Holloway isn’t buying the injury excuse that Charles Oliveira had during their first fight bac in 2015.

“I heard [Oliveira] was yapping, saying he was injured in our first fight. Last time I checked, when they did a follow up to find out what his injury was, there was no injury. They said he was fine; I have no idea what the h*ll he’s talking about.”

Alexander Volkanovski believes Max Holloway’s next fight could be against Ilia Topuria.

“Max beat Justin Gaethje and Poirier, who just fought for the title. So he literally beat the two top guys – Max’s next fight could probably be for the title, I think that would be fair.”
