Daniel Cormier believes UFC Middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev should be ranked No. 3. on the UFC pound-for-pound rankings, taking UFC Bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili’s spot because Chimaev’s skillset transcends weight classes in that he’s had success in multiple divisions, whereas Dvalishvili hasn’t so far. 

Merab Dvalishvili believes UFC Lightweight champion Ilia Topuria could finish Islam Makhachev in a potential bout.

Donald Trump has revoked former Vice President Kamala Harris' extended Secret Service protection, which had been authorized by President Joe Biden before leaving office. Harris’ legal six-month protection period ended in July 2025, but Biden had quietly extended it for an additional year. Trump's directive, effective today, ends that extension despite no new threat assessment or security concerns cited by the Secret Service. The move comes just as Harris is set to begin a high-profile book tour for her upcoming memoir, 107 Days.

Spirit Airlines has voluntarily filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy for the second time in less than a year, citing ongoing financial and industry pressures. CEO Dave Davis stated that while the previous restructuring focused on reducing debt and raising capital, deeper changes are now needed to ensure long-term success. The airline plans to use the court-supervised process to redesign its network, optimize its fleet, and realign its strategy.
