The UFC’s deal with Paramount will include 44 UFC cards, 16-18 Boxing cards, 14 UFC BJJ cards and 12 Power Slap cards.
During UFC's broadcast deal negotiations, Netflix was initially expected to land the rights due to its $5 billion deal with WWE and shared ownership under TKO Group Holdings. However, Paramount unexpectedly secured the deal with a massive $7.7 billion offer, more than doubling what ESPN currently pays. Although Netflix showed interest, they declined to carry the full volume of UFC events, opting instead for select pay-per-view content, which ultimately limited the deal's potential.
