Amid a growing feud, Donald Trump called for the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to review subsidies given to Elon Musk’s companies Tesla and SpaceX as a potential cost-saving measure. This move followed Musk’s renewed criticism of the administration’s major tax-cut and spending bill, vowing to oppose lawmakers who backed it. The White House aims to have the bill signed into law by July 4, 2025.

Apple Music is marking its 10-year anniversary by launching ‘Replay All Time’, a personalized playlist that highlights users most played songs since signing up. This feature builds on the existing Replay experience but offers a comprehensive look at listening habits from as far back as 2015 when Apple Music first launched. Available via the Home tab, it provides an easier way to reflect on long-term music tastes compared to the yearly Replays introduced in 2019. It's still uncertain whether the playlist will be a permanent feature or available for a limited time.

Donald Trump falsely claimed that Zohran Mamdani, a Democratic mayoral candidate in New York City, is an illegal immigrant and threatened to arrest him if he blocks immigration enforcement. Mamdani was born in Uganda and has lived in New York since 1998, became a U.S. citizen in 2018 and would be the city’s first Muslim mayor if elected. There is no credible evidence to support Trump’s accusations, which echo his history of spreading falsehoods. Mamdani responded on social media, denouncing the remarks as an attack on democracy and a threat to those who speak out. New York Governor Kathy Hochul, who hasn’t formally endorsed Mamdani, defended him from Trump’s attacks.
