Apple announced the iPhone 17 which now includes an always-on display, a feature previously exclusive to Pro models and its screen has been slightly increased to 6.3 inches. Its rear camera system includes a 48MP ultra-wide lens and a 12MP macro lens for detailed close-up shots. A new square-sensor front camera allows for multiple photo orientations, enhancing selfie versatility. Apple also claims improved durability with Ceramic Shield 2 and promises all-day battery life, though no exact duration was provided. 

Apple announced the iPhone Air – Apple’s thinnest iPhone ever at just 5.6mm, featuring a titanium chassis, Ceramic Shield 2, and a 6.5-inch Super Retina XDR display with 120Hz ProMotion. It’s powered by the new A19 Pro chip alongside N1 and C1X processors, enabling advanced AI, multitasking, and top-tier photography. The phone introduces an 18MP Center Stage front camera and a 48MP Fusion main system for pro-level imaging. Available in four colours. 

Apple announced the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max which introduce a redesigned camera bar that spans the phone’s width, housing a 48MP camera with 1x, 2x, 4x, and 8x optical zoom and 8K video recording. Both models are equipped with an Apple-designed Wi-Fi 7 chip for significantly faster connectivity. Their displays are brighter than previous models, enhancing visibility in all lighting conditions. Apple claims these devices can support up to 39 hours of video playback on a single charge. 

Apple announced three new Apple Watch models: the Series 11, SE 3, and Ultra 3, each offering upgraded features like stronger glass, 5G connectivity, and improved battery life. The Series 11 is the thinnest model with 24-hour battery life and health features like blood pressure monitoring and sleep scoring. The SE 3 now has an always-on display and temperature detection for tracking ovulation, while the Ultra 3 offers a larger screen, 42-hour battery life, and satellite connectivity for emergencies. Apple emphasized health enhancements across all models, aiming to alert users to conditions like hypertension and support fitness and wellness tracking. 

Apple refreshed its AirPods Pro for the first time in three years with the new AirPods Pro 3. These wireless earbuds now include heart rate sensing, enhanced spatial audio, improved noise cancellation, and a better fit with more ear tip options. They also feature live language translation powered by Apple Intelligence, allowing users to hear real-time translations directly in their ears while lowering the original speaker’s volume. This translation function lets the user’s iPhone convert their speech back into the other language, similar to features offered by Google and Samsung. 

All newly announced Apple devices will be available on September 19 with pre-orders starting September 12. The event highlighted Apple’s continued emphasis on sleek design, AI-driven features, and seamless lifestyle integration.
